SGF/Sweet Green Fields has customer supporting product development expertise in all areas of stevia agriculture, extraction, chemistry and function, and formulation.
Sweet Green Fields has been breeding and growing its own proprietary stevia varieties in a commercial setting for more than a decade. Today we have more than sixty proprietary stevia varieties. We grow at various regions of the world and are able to offer supply assurance to our customers (not being affected by regional environmental and economic fluctuations). One of SGF’s founders and current research and development partners is the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC), with more than 100 years of sweetener growing and processing experience.
This allows SGF to utilize HARC world class facilities and to constantly innovate new agricultural methods of growing and processing stevia. Part of SGF’s extensive germplasm is protected by the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center. SGF maintains active independent research projects studying and developing agronomic practices around the world.
